Discipline Plan
The following classroom expectations
are designed to support a positive learning environment. Please review
them with your child.
Students should:

Follow school and classroom rules
-
Be respectful to others, treat
others the way that they would liked to be treated
-
Be ready to learn and work
Rewards for appropriate behavior
are:
-
Academic success and personal
satisfaction
-
Verbal praise
-
Special awards and certificates
such as all star slips
-
Sticker or hand stamped at the
end of the day
Consequences for not following
the rules:
-
First infraction- verbal warning
-
Second infraction-yellow card,
2 minute time-out and no sticker

Third infraction- red card , lose
a 10 minute recess, no sticker and parent notification
If a child injures another child,
or continues inappropriate behavior he will automatically receive a red
card, and if warranted he/she will have a conference with the principal
which could result in a conduct slip. If your child receives a yellow
or red card during the day they will not get a sticker.
Each child deserves the best
learning environment possible in order to develop to their fullest potential.
