Welcome to Room 7
Welcome to first grade. This is going
to be a fun and exciting year. It is a pleasure to have your child
in my classroom.
A little about myself: I have lived
in Fremont my entire life. I received my credentials from Saint Mary's
in Moraga, CA. I began my teaching career in Newark and have now
settled here in Fremont Unified School District. I am married
and have three children; a nine year old son, a four year old son and a
15 month old daughter. I also have one cat named Friday Nite. I enjoy
scrapbooking in my free time and going on outings with my family.
I am looking forward to getting to know you
and your child. With your help and support, together we will provide
your child with a positive first grade educational experience.

Homework
Homework packets will come home every Monday
and be returned on Fridays. The first packet will come home on September
11th.
Donated Items
Thank you for bringing in school supplies.
We will be sharing them with the class throughout the year. Thanks
a BUNCH!
School Forms
Please turn in all school forms and emergency
bags as soon as possible. Without these forms we are not aware of
your child's medical needs or your personal information.
Birthdays
Our class welcomes birthday celebrations for
our fellow classmates. Please send a note at least a few days ahead
of the planned celebration, so I can be sure to have time set aside.
Celebrations will be planned for the last hour of the school day.
If you are going to bring treats, PLEASE make them individual treats (cupcakes
or cookies instead of a large cake).
Parent Involvement
Parent involvement is encouraged and needed.
We need help with just about everything from tearing out and stapling books
at home as well as volunteers who can come into the classroom to help with
art projects and reading with students. Please contact me if you are able
to help in any way.
